Blewett Baby Girls

Why did I take a picture of the back of Chelsea you ask?
So you can see how completely normal she looks.
Until...

BAM!
Two little princesses all curled up in there.
Isn't she adorable?

This weekend we did the baby shower for them.
She had family come in from Portland and it was
all around a really great time.

The Treat Table.
Complete with chocolate truffles, mini pumpkin pies,
pumpkin muffins, and caramel apple cider cookies.
Oh yes, it was decadent.

I made these onesies for the girls and we displayed them.
(Okay...I just ironed on the embellishments, shhhh.)

But I did put together these fancy-schmancy diaper cakes.
Complete with rhinestones and little owl booties on the top
Note:  There were two of these. One for each girl, duh.

Then some little centerpieces for added decor.

And of course, favors!
Caramel corn from Klings.  Yum!

Sugar booger had a great time socializing and
melting peoples hearts.

The best part?
Getting to spend time with really great friends.
You know...the kind of girlfriends that God forgot to make your sisters,
but magically placed them into your lives?
Yeah, that's what kind of girls Chels and Jayme are.

And Jayme and I can't wait to post up in the hospital waiting room with our Red Bulls and Cosmo magazines to meet our two little new nieces.
Come on December!

Life Is Fabulous

So not too long ago I was stressed to the max.  But I took that leave from school at the perfect time and ever since life has been so great.  I have been working out more, started being a youth group leader at my church, reading (that is weird for me), and hanging out with some really great people.

I love fall!  Especially at my house.  My Aunt decorates everything so cute, makes lots of soup and we get all cozy to watch movies together very often.  The weather/season change has been wonderful.

I go to an amazing church.  My eyes have been opened to a whole new way of looking at life, and God has worked in really awesome ways.  I try to go on Sundays (if I can get out of bed, but it's my one day I get to actually sleep in).  And they started doing a Wednesday night service as well.  Josh Bruns is the man.  I work with Junior and Senior girls in the youth group and they are all so fabulous, and fun.  I cannot wait to connect with them more and get to know each and every one of them better.  Plus I get to go to Camp Spalding (The Greatest place on earth) with them for the winter retreat!  Sooooo excited!

I decided to take some time off at Dutch Bros.  That was one of the hardest decisions ever, and my last day I cried three different times.  I don't really cry, it is very rare. I have been going to school 6 days a week so I can power though and finish up because I have a really great job waiting for me.  But Dutch Bros will always have my heart and I realllllllllly hope they will let me come back when me schedule isn't so crazy.

My family is amazing, and my friends have been so great.
I am such a blessed girl and life just keeps getting better.

Aunt Whitney

I love babies. We've been over this. And no I am not "technically" an Aunt (thank goodness, Sandi), my best friend Chelsea and my cousins are my other siblings.  So since they have children, I am an Aunt. And I LOVE it.  While I babysit I get to cuddle them, fill them full of sugar, and play with fun toys. It really is great.

Chelsea has a 15 month old little boy named Landon.  I just adore that little boy and his big blue eyes. And to add to that she is pregnant with twin baby girls!  I am doing a shower for these little princesses, and it will be extravagent.  Afterall having two of everything guarentees twice the amount of fun.  Her and Beau are incredible parents and I am so excited for their famiy to grow.

Danny and Liz have Brady (3) and Ella (18 Months).  The thing I love the most about these two little ones is that they are sassy red heads.  And even when they do something naughty, they are still adorable.  I know, I know...if I were their parents I wouldn't think they were so cute when they were naughty.  But they are so damn cute.

Jenni and Joel have Dreysan (8) and Cannon (almost 2).  These boys are hilarious. They just recently adopted Cannon, and he is the sweetest.  Dreysan is such a great big brother. That boy can make my bad days better instantly. He is constantly telling me super sweet things like "Whitty you look so pretty today." Oh, he just melts my heart.

John and Tasha are expecting a baby!  We don't know what the sex is yet, but I can promise you it's a boy. But i'd be happy if it were a girl too, I just have a gut feeling and I am usually pretty good at this guessing game! They are going to be amazing with that little peanut.  I am sooooo excited to plan her shower as well and spoil him. <yeah i said him, mainly because saying "it" really creeps me out.  That "it" is a person, and "it" deserves to be addressed a little bit nicer.

Kids are funny.  And these kids make me smile everyday.  Oh, and the fact that they can give me my "baby fix" and then I can give them right back isn't too bad of a deal.  Love.

take a chill pill.

I love doing hair.  But beauty school is hard.  So hard.
Especially when you have another job, and are trying to have a life.
I am getting close to the end, and it cannot come fast enough.
I mean that in the most positive attitude possible.
But I can honestly say that if you really want to test your emoitions and sanity in life...go to beauty school.
You'll become insane in a couple months tops. I am not kidding.
Things usually don't bother me, I don't have many girlfriends because I don't do drama well.  But at this place I could easily slap one different person a day.  Healthy, right?  No...miserable. Maybe this is because everyone in that school has this attitude and it has reflected on to me.
Yeah, I think that's what it is.
Side note: I have lived with 50 women in a sorority and this is FAR worse.

I decided to take a month off for my well being because my stress level and anxiety is the worst it's been in my whole life and I haven't felt well in months (I really think I'm dying sometimes).  The light at the end of the tunnel is near and after my little breather it will only be a few short (fingers crossed) months.

Why I know it'll be worth it in the end?
Because I get to see beautiul finished products like this.
(Cut, color and style)

And when your clients are as cute as this little man,
you can't help but smile and love what you do.

FINALLY Updating!

Oh my goodness.  It's been months.  It's like I've been busy or something. No not really, just being a typical 21 year old going to school, working, dating (puke) and trying to make time for friends and family.  Life is so good though, I am not complaining.  I will be better about updates, and posts...promise.  Oh and as for Vegas, it was so fabulous.  And here are a bunch of pictures.

I am one lucky girl.  Not only because I have the most amazing Mom and friends ever, but because I also won enough money to pay for my trip and pay off my credit card when I got home.  Oh, Vegas...how I love you.

Getting ready for VEGAS!

I am so looking forward to this trip.  Things have been crazy busy and I'm ready to let loose and get crazy with some really great people.  The mom's have everything planned out, but they won't tell us.  All we know is there will be no time for hang over's or naps...as my sassy mama says.

I've been to Vegas once, but I was in the 7th grade.  People keep telling me there are much better/more exciting things there than the amusement park at Circus Circus.
We'll see about that!

This piggy bank is filled with all of my tip money from the last couple months.  And we're ready to head out to Caesar's Palace for some ridiculously over-priced, fabulous shopping.

This flask is filled with nothing at the moment,
but who knows what I'll decide on when I get there.  ;-)

As an added bonus I get to go there with super great friends.  Like these boys.

Oh, I love them.

And maybe, just maybe I will choose one of them to marry while we're down there.
 Why not?
Everyone's doing it.

Stay tuned for trip details!

Quality time with the Rudolph's

I love evenings at Danny and Liz's house.  They are always so entertaining with the little ones.  It's getting warm and beautiful outside so we've barbequed a couple times and it's wonderful.

Little Ellie-phant (get it?) loves to wander around in the grass.  Plus she's a big girl now, so she goes a million.

Brady is really good at soccer.  Like really good.

Future David Beckham right there.

Oh, and Ell's is really good too of course.  It must be those fabulous pink sparkly shoes.

Then it's bath, pj's and settle down time.  Coloring was on the agenda.
Look at that concentration.

Ellie colored too!
Do you notice a pattern here?

But it made her so sleepy.

And I finished up my awesome coloring page.
Then after Brady went down it was time for some wine and Modern Family/Toddlers and Tiara's/Glee with Liz.

We've got the routine down.  And it happens at least once a week.

Heart.
